It’s a known fact that Apple doesn’t want its customers to install jailbroken operating systems and in order to prevent developers from creating new jailbreaking tools, Apple has been slowly but steadily increasing iOS’s overall security. In fact, Apple went to the lengths of rewarding developers who find and report security breaches with huge amounts of money. As a result of that, hacker groups which specialize in iOS jailbreaking such as Pangu have not yet been able to crack iOS 10.2 yet.
While Apple has already rolled out iOS 10.2.1, there hasn’t been one jailbreaking tool made available yet. Everyone is expecting the Chinese hacking group known as Pangu to launch a new iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool but it looks like Pangu isn’t able to do that. The main reason why Pangu is being held back is because Apple keeps on constantly rolling new patches thus improving iOS security. Other speculations are pointing out that Pangu might be waiting for a more stable version of iOS 10 to come.
The reason why everyone is expecting Pangu to upload the new iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool is because the group has recently showcased a jailbreak demo on Apple’s latest software update. This gave hope to iOS power users that iOS 10.2 can be cracked. According to rumors surrounding Pangu, the Chinese hacking team is actually working on fixing a few bugs in the operating system before rolling it out to the wide public.
Nonetheless, even though Pangu has yet to launch a stable iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool there is another option. Luca Todesco which is a known and liable hacker is the one who provided Apple jailbreak fans with the latest iOS 10 Yalu jailbreak tool. This tool is compatible only with 64-bit Apple devices which run on iOS 10 or iOS 10.1.1.
