Announced at E3: Rockstar is releasing GTA 6 in June, 2017
After the amazing GTA V hit the market, it was only a matter of time until people started wondering when Rockstar will release GTA 6. If you’re one of those people, your prayers have been answered, since the company made a statement at E3 (Entertainment Electronic Exp) that we will see the amazing game release in June, 2017. The game will be called “Return to the Vice City” and will be available on Play Station 4, Xbox game and PCs all over the world.
The Grand Theft Auto franchise has always been great with storylines and graphics. In the new game, we are promised a touch of something new to blow our mind away. We’ll just have to wait and see what the developers have in mind for us. As we’ve seen from the name itself, the GTA 6 will be placed in Vice City. This kind of throwback feel we’ve seen before both in GTA 4, when they went back to Liberty City and in GTA 5 where we’ve encountered Las Santos.
People are dying for details, since the release date is set so far in the future, so Rockstar let us in on a couple more details. As the GTA V, GTA 6 will have multiple “heroes” of which one will go to Asia and another will be John Marston’s descendant. Everyone seems to have high expectations from this game, and for good reason: its predecessor was truly great.
As seen in May, in Forbes Magazine, the game had sales of $2 billion, which makes for quite a big amount of fans out there. Nonetheless, Rockstar is hoping and promissing at the same time for a breath-taking game, so we’ll see what exactly turns out. Rockstar: “GTA 5 had scored $800 million dollars just 24 hours after its release date, and this time we are all set to break that record”.
